Challenge

The client was looking for a landing page and a dashboard/system that allowed their clients to request services from a dashboard of partners. A lot of variables needed to be accounted for in order for the dashboard to work in the correct way.

Landing Page

The landing page was pretty straightforward — the client requested something simple and basic to present their offered services and creative studio. We created simple 3D animations and branding assets that fit the current brand and integrated those into the website, these assets could also be used in other graphics.

Dashboard

The system had a lot of variables, which could create scalability issues. The main challenge was designing and architecturing the dashboard in a scalable way, since Narrativ is always looking to expand and give better/more solutions to their clients.

Design System

We started by creating wireframes and prototypes, along with a comprehensive design system. This was possibly the most important step of all the design and development process. The foundation is what allows us to create scalable products.

Architecturing

At the same time, our team is architecturing the database structure, which allows us to understand what data needs to be stored and how it should be stored in order to prevent future additions make the datasets too cluttered.
Having a way to visualize the data is much better to solve logical problems — but also is easier for the whole team to understand. This data plays a big role on how the design is made too. We first visualize the data that needs to be displayed, and then create the final designs on top of that.

Design & Development

Now we needed to turn those designs into reality. We develop both the front-end and back-end at the same time, to test each step with an interface to visualize the data.

The front-end team starts developing the interfaces designed and the back-end team starts creating the modules that together, will make a functional dashboard. Our teams are always in synergy, the development pace is usually the same, and that allow us to send responsive updates to the client, as well as actual demos that they can play with.

Quality Assurance

The platform goes under heavy testing to make sure it is ready for production. We create environments that we can share with people and easily push fixes to.

Support

After the platform is in production, we are on top of the tests and logs that were created to make sure everything is running as expected.

Any features, changes or fixes that the client requests are done within fast timeframes, to guarantee the best experience for the users of the platform. It is an on-going work that we will keep on pushing features to.
